“This is an iconic building in a prime central location, near many attractions. However, some may find that the rooms and service don't fully align with the five-star billing, despite a very nice breakfast. Overall, in my opinion, the property relies too heavily on its history.”

central location delicious scones dated room key inconvenience
The central location was really special. The proximity to everything made sightseeing easy. breakfast at the grand café was a treat with scones. They were delicious, and it was a comforting start to each day.
The room felt a bit dated and grey with no pictures. It lacked a certain warmth i desired. accessing the room after check-in was also inconvenient. I had to return to reception to replace the key card, a bit frustrating.
